Seeing as how I can't draw by hand, I think these came out great! The coloring is off for some of them because all I had to work with was a 24-pack of fine-point Sharpies but it's ok, I just did this for the fun! The laces have a pattern of the original four Poké Balls
Can anyone recommend a good spray-thing to preserve it?

Thank you so much, I'm so glad I inspired you! I got the shoes at WalMart on sale for $5.00! They're really good too, not that cheapy or anything. Warning though, they run HUGE. I'm a size 7 and this pair is size 5 and they're still too big. I later bought a second pair size 4 and those are a perfect fit, quite bizarre, I guess that's why they were on sale. Oh, and thanks for the fave!

I use a Liquidex medium varnish for my shoes! It's a brush-on varnish, but I haven't had any troubles with it bleeding or running at all and it seals them pretty effectively!

Almost all art places sell them. Michael's, JoAnne Fabrics. Any place that sells acrylic paint, the varnish is usually sold with. VANS.com also sells a sealant for shoes that I have heard good things about!
