Vivi’s tasks at the church are all behind the scenes per her request. While cleaning and material maintenance are her main daily responsibilities, she also sings hymns for ceremonies and other important events.
Personality:
Calling Vivi distant would be an underestimation. She is extremely anti-social to those she is not familiar with, taking great measures through speech and physical body language to make it known. As well as being detached, she is cautious and even a bit hostile at times to those that do persevere in being social with her. She is easily prone to jealousy, though she endeavors to keep such thoughts to herself. Onlookers would consider her weak-willed and spineless as she can be seen crying more times than not. Despite all the negative, Vivi’s good traits can be seen if squinting hard enough. The curse gave her an intrepid curiosity that leads her to trying many different things; and although blank on memories, she is inherently intelligent and a quick learner, always soaking information like a sponge.

History:
When Vivi first woke up at Ogregati’s clinic, she was in a state of hysteria and confusion. Not only did she not know where she was, but she had absolutely no idea who she was. The only thing she did know was that she was human—or was at one point. The fact that she was now a monster-hybrid only lead her to go into a greater state of panic. She was kept at the clinic and observed for the next few days until she was in a better mind state.

During that time Vivi learned quite a few things. Firstly, the person who found her did not find her as she currently was, but as an actual monster during the Witch Princess’ assault on the town. Instead of the monster returning to the forest of beginnings upon defeat, it instead turned into Vivi. Secondly, the doctor was able to determine that she was suffering from a magic-based amnesia—which could mean that her current body also had magical origins. It was understood that she was the victim of an unidentifiable curse. Lastly, Vivi dreamed of what she could only assume as fragments of her human memories—through which she learned her name. It was enough to deduce that someone with magic aptitude cursed her into what she currently is.

When she was well enough to leave the clinic, Vivi sought employment at the local church, seeing as a place of worship was the only thing of familiarity to her. Currently, Vivi dedicates as much free time as possible in researching the origins of her status and how to reverse what had been done.

■ Her hair grows back far too quick for her to keep it short as she prefers. Thus she keeps it up most of the time to prevent entanglement with her branches.
■ Her eyes are pure black, sclera included—though most will not know this due to her eyes being hidden behind her bangs.
