Digital coloring practice. Used ~MARoy 's lineart found at this [link] She's running a contest for best colors on her lineart. Winner receives 50 DA points.The rock texture very faintly discernible is from ~lorienstock at this [link]
I'm not sure I'm happy with my light sources... Not sure I managed this very well, but I gave it a shot!
I'm pleased with it anyway. Everything else is accomplished from Gimp filters. (The other ripples not drawn by the artist were done through a cloud/lava effect with other filters applied to make them look more like water.) Also, done with a mouse.EDIT: Wait what? So I was looking through my comments, and I found a FEATURE? This is the third deviation of mine to be featured somewhere! What a nice surprise.

This is beautiful. It's a little surreal and faintly reminds me of neon lights. It's still a very elegant and beautiful piece, I like it a lot

hahaha. Actually, I did manage to find some Caribbean popsicles, with things like mango and pineapple and passionfruit and coconut in the purée, at work the other day! LOL. They were awesome.
