- Vain: He's very much a dandy, and spends a good amount of time making certain his appearance is up to a certain standard.
- Ambitious: Believes great good can be achieved with great power, and enjoys the structure and influence of the ministry.
- Passionate: Puts 100% of his efforts into his chosen tasks with a determined singlemindedness. He doesn't respect those that work for him that don't do the same, and has little patience for what he believes to be half-assed work among people in the ministry. 100% dedication similarly goes into his interests and hobbies, but he's only a hardass about work quality in the workplace.
- Dramatic: Thinks everything is better with more flair, and can take things too seriously.
- Emotional: Emotional appeals work well on him, and he's easily swayed by tragic stories.
- Outgoing: Enjoys socializing, and social gatherings.
- Family Loyalty: Proud of his famiy history, and loyal to his relatives.
- Spells and Old Demon books: He likes them. A lot. A bit of a nerd when it comes to dark magic and dusty tomes.
Backstory: Phileas was born the second child to an esteemed pureblood mother, and a wealthy halfblood father. He and his four siblings had the necessities of education emphasized to them by their parents, and were given everything necessary to ensure their success when they finally enrolled at Hogwarts. Phileas proudly joined house gryffindor, eventually becoming a prefect, but never head boy as he desired.
After graduating, with some help from his grandfather, Phileas became an intern at the Ministry of magic, with the intention of eventually becoming an auror. It was around this time the Second Wizarding War, during which Phileas began to doubt in the institution which he chose to work for, as well as what he thought was his guaranteed future. Once the war was done he left to travel, eventually meeting someone who influenced him to grow a deep interest in spells of all kinds. After lots of moving around and reading, he returned, deciding to become an auror that could truly make a difference in the ministry's efforts against the dark arts.
He became one, working his way up until he was head of the dark arts division, devoting as much of himself as he could to the ministry, and enjoying the new era of peace among magickind.
