Description Taiwan Railways LCK20 is the first steam locomotive ever used by the taiwan Railways Administration on the Taitung Line. The LCK20 is characterized by the body paint "IMPERIAL TAIWAN RAILWAY", and the CT240 class introduced in 1912 also has this feature, but this feature has not lasted for a long time.

Built by the Vulcan Iron Works in the United States for the construction of the narrow gauge railway between Hualien and Shishige (now Yuli). After the Taiwan Governor-General Railways purchased these engines, no. 2 was transferred to the Alishan Forest Railway for volunteering at the construction. It was transported goods between Chiayi and Zhuqi. After returning to the Taitung line, it continued its service. In 1928, the Ministry of Railways reorganized the car registration, and the No. 1-4 was compiled into the L20 type. In 1937, the car was changed to the LC11 type. In 1949, the Taiwan Railways Administration classified these tank engines as LCK20. After the diesel fuelization of the Taitung line passengers in 1960, it was scrapped to metal without being preserved.
