I hear this voice inside my head; it grows stronger everydayTelling me to let go of my control and let the frustration fade away
I sit in silence, watching as strangers pass me by
The voice inside my head whispers gently Someone has to die
Hours I sit and no one even spares me a glance
While the voice inside me whispers Little one here is your chance.
I try to resist the calling of my name, but I just can’t win these mind games
No matter how hard I try to fight, my hand it raises high
And when the knife comes now, it takes with it a life
The blood drenches my finger tips and I can not help but smile
I watch my body fall to the ground, but I’ve been dead inside a while
The voice inside, I know now was only just my mind
Someone’s life was taken tonight but I didn’t know it would be mine
