I've gotten the Unique Azurewrath Crystal Sword from a gamble. My Bowazon is on Nightmare and it remains as her main melee weapon.
This is such a beautiful rendition; absolutely awe-inspiring!

Wow, this looks great. I picked one up from Larzuk in act 5, sold it back to him when I looked at the durability. They are great for aesthetics, terrible when used practically. It's a shame.

Dimensional Blade and Phase Blades are both Indestructible mind. That means Azurewrath, Lightsabre and so on cannot break it was implemented in patch 1.11 or so. The Crystal Sword (hard to really tell being they all had the same model) version can break but once you're into Nightmare top end/ Hell you'll get more Phase and Dimensional Blades instead. They just all look identical bar blade colors to a point

I like the crystal sword especialy wen u put gem's on it !!!
cauz it take the colore of the gem(like any weapon in the game)
but this one...the colore is to flashy so it look more like a beam sword!!!

it looks JUST like it, however it is so old now that this looks outdated, would be nice to see you put your own touches on it to make it look more modern

haha I love the crystals swords in D2. Unfortunately I never used them (or at least not for very long) because I never found one that had a lot of good qualities to it, only looked good.

True, and maces were always better, because they not only had more reliable damage, but added 50% damage to undead. Swords were pretty much useless, unless you found one with some kick-ass magic stats

i still play d2 every day lol and crystal swords are some of the best weapons in the games for runewords because they have low requirements and can have 5 sockets in 1 hand. best call to arms weapon imo

Oh, I play D2 almost every day too. Hell, I've got so many characters on b.net that I need two separate accounts, lol.
I never tried making a runeword out of a crystal sword though, I'm gonna have to try that sometime. Usually I use characters that either don't need melee weapons, or have character specific ones.

Wow...that's good. Love the detail and how its realistic.
If you said it was a Phase Blade, then I would say it's even better. ^^ (No durability issue since Phase Blade is Indestructible.)

remember the light saber crystal sword? it was a unique item and it did massive elemental damage and looked pretty funky.

The crystal sword was actually my favorite kind of sword in the game. I honestly never had a problem with it breaking but I did know of it's low durability and kept an eye on it and made it a point to get it repaired every now and then so maybe that's why. I miss Diablo 2 now lol
