I was aiming for something quicker, more cell-shading too, but I really wanted to work a bit more on this one, because it's... I won't say it's "personnal" because it's not that much, but it is very important to me. They both are very important to me.I wanted to draw this kind of scene for many reasons for a very long time, and finally last week I read some "Trough the Rift" ( read it here => [link] ) chapters, by the lovely ~FantasiaWandering , and the chapter between Leo and Donnie put tears in my eyes.
I'm not sure to get all the differences of spaces in the fanfic, especially since I don't follow RPBlogs, but it's Donnie, and it's Leo, no matter the dimension they are in.
So yep. It's a mix between this fanfic, the 2007 movie because Donnie had all this pressure to deal with while Leo was away, and it's from some personnal headcanons.
To me, they are twins, and that's a very special bond to me, even if I can't really explain.
Oh well. The background is not good, I wasn't planning to put them in the dojo at all, but finally I worked on it and... That happened.

I think that they are blood brothers, but I think they may have hatched at different times. Like Raph hatched a few hours after Leo

and yes different time but some day. and the different time just 4 or 5 minutes. just like the twins.

Coming as the Donnie in this scenario (hi there!) the differences are simple. My Donnie has strictly only experiences the canon events of the 2012 show up to that point. So everything before the hiatus and meeting Karai. (I think?) And Fantasia's Leo experienced everything before meeting Karai and the events of her fanfic "Falling".
That's the degree of separation for the two. Donnie is strictly from TMNT2012, and Leo is from Falling.
