Facts:

Esme is a family member of the Liledubh clan in a form of a human and one of the bosses in Inkwell Isle One.

She is born in the Liledubh clan, a family of poltergeists and banshees living in the dark forest of Inkwell Isle One; they would roam around in the Inkwell Isle at nighttime while the poltergeist would roam around in their human disguise at daytime. Esme has poltergeist abilities from her father and she has banshee abilities from her mother. As a child, Esme in her human form being shunned by the others and they thought that she is weird and often to made fun of by some of the kids and feeling friendless. When she is eighteen thousand years old, she felt like someone would help her to be accepted by the others; one night, she head to the Devil's Casino where she was greeted by King Dice and asked that she needed someone to help her with. King Dice decided to take her to the office where the Devil is expecting her to see him how he heard about her problems which she wanted to have friends and have a better life, Esme realized that she would have her soul being claimed by him if she agreed to sign her contract. The Devil gleefully offered her a contract and then letting her signed the contract then she left the place much to her siblings' dismay.

Before the Cup bros. going after her, she met Meshach the Undertaker in Inkwell Isle Three. She is on her way back to Inkwell Isle One wearing a jacket and hood hiding herself from the others then she and Meshach bumped onto each other then Esme apologized to him that she was on her way back to Inkwell Isle One and Meshach who got off from groceries and also on his way back to Inkwell Isle One too. When he asked her if she would like to take her home but she have to refused the offer that she can go by herself because she was afraid that he will find out that she is a poltergeist in disguise but unbeknowst to her, he knew her secret that she is a poltergeist banshee hybrid and feels sympathic for her so he pretends to be ignorant. The next day, she spotted him at the graveyard and he is about to leave and unexpectedly surprised to see her and she asked him if he wants to go on the date with her until 7pm so Meshach agreed and also tells her to go with him back to the graveyard after that. After the date and it's now 7pm, so it's time for her to show her true form to him; when she show her true form to him, she tearfully expectedly asked him if he hated her now but instead; he asked why would he and he explained that he knew her secret already because he is a necromancer and knew about supernatural monsters as he morphed into a lich and also he liked her too and now they were officially in love while her siblings and cousins watching them feeling soften.

Locals said that Esme is twenty four thousand years old but in human years, she is like nineteen years old.

Despite wearing a skirt, she hates wearing clothes that is too much revealing skin which it could make her shy and embarrased as well.

She gets along with the Phantom Express as well; Esme can speak to ghost train passengers in there which it really impressed them for being a poltergeist and banshee hybrid and also Meshach would get along with them too.

Esme finally gained new friends sinced her soul contract is burned along with the other contracts and she would be happy of not alone anymore.

~~Battle In-Game~~

Esme's level is located in Inkwell Isle One which is a broken chained fence and gate on nearby forest, neighboring Cagney Carnation's level. Before the battle begins, Esme made an indirect entrance(presumably leaving the forest) until she sees Cuphead and Mugman and then calls her siblings before jumping away.

In the first stage, the poltergeist and banshee siblings appeared out of nowhere which the player/s must defeat them one by one. Killian and Finnegan will pull out five skulls and throws them at the player/s which they must evade from it and others can be parriable; in Simple mode, there are three skulls and in Expert they are six skulls and they were thrown very quicker. While the poltergeist brothers attacking, the banshee sisters will let out a loud shriek wave at the player/s that they must avoid. After they were defeated, they will retreat back as the second stage begins and Esme was upset that her siblings hurt and she appeared out of nowhere. In the second stage, Esme begin to summoned tiny poltergeists and they will come out of nowhere and flew above the player/s left and right, they will pull out a rock and dropped them on the player/s if locked target but some of them can get parried. In the final phase, Esme started to glow and turned back into her poltergeist banshee form and make a spook expression at the player/s. She will let out a huge shrieking wave which it is pushing the player/s backwards(similiar to Croaks' fan technique) and must stay still. She will summoned the clones of herself surrounding the player/s and they will fired the bones at them, one of them can be parried and they must be destroyed if given some damages. She continued summoning the tiny poltergeists in this phase.

Once defeated, Esme wailed as she yanked her hair as black tears streaming down her eyes while her poltergeist and banshee siblings comfort her. In Simple mode, Esme will not turned back into her true form, she instead just fell down to her knees and starts crying in the second stage.
