Okay okay, so it's not exactly macabre and horror, but I felt it blonged here better than anywhere else in the digital art section. This was inspired, not surprisingly by The new Phantom of the Opera movie. Dan and I absolutely adore the musical and we had second row seats in the London production with John Owen Jones (the best Phantom besides Michael Crawford who is, was and shall ever be the daddy!) Anyway I liked this new "sexy" phantom they were trying to portray..so here's my tribute, named after the Phantom's own song, Music of the Night. Go Gerard Butler, the movie Phantom, you rock and you're from Scotland!Related content

Beautiful pic! I actually prefer GB 'cause I'm too used to seeing MC in comedies like "Hello Dolly" to see him as Erik. Although, I saw the play last month and I loved it! Still, it's a beautiful story, nonetheless!

Gerard Butler seems to be more popular in the looks department, while Michael Crawford is loved for his voice. I still think Michael Crawford sounds like someone running a cheese grater over a violin.

i totally agree w/ FalynFireAngel, the murder stuff definately is a plus. But i bet he wouldn't be so murderous if he got some love *i will be happy to oblige* the movie rocked beyong words....possibly the best movie i've seen since Pirates of the Caribbean. Anyone who hasn't seen it should.

Of course Gerard Butler's incarnate would... good lord that man is good-looking. o_0 You mean you've seen the movie already? >> How? He DID look pretty buff in all the previews I saw. And Raoul... he's just.... so pitiful it's almost funny.

No doubt,...well at least Gerard Butler's incarnation would have, did you check the trapezium muscles on him at the end of the movie? Much nicer than Raoul anyway. I mean maybe if Christine had felt the love the Phantom needed he may be changed by it...but then again the reason she doesn't love him that way is cause he's a phsyco and a murderer, so can you really blame her?
Still....he is hot
