This is actually almost 3 years old, and I'm just now getting to posting it. Am I slack or what?Painted with acrylic on stretched watercolor paper on canvas around 18 x 24 inches.
This isn't the greatest picture of it, but you get the idea.
Used a photo reference, though I improvised on a few things. I changed the color scheme completely; I wanted her to look like she was dancing on a stage under colorful stage lights, hence the black background and whatnot.
Altered her lower body a bit to show more movement.
I've recently gotten into belly dance, not that I can actually do it or anything, just that it fascinates me.

Yeah she is definitely amazing, and has some awesome outfits. Her jewelry was both fun and painful to paint.
