Up in the Ramtops all kinda of weird things can be found.
A vague sketch turned into a vaguely Terry Prachett related concept. From Equal Rites and a few other books what mention the Ram Tops.
About an hour in Photoshop CS.

Lovely work, the muted tones and sense of atmosphere read so well. Since you asked for an 'Advanced Critique', the only thing I would offer is that with the main focal point being off to the lower left, a more horizontal or vertical layout might enhance the balance more, but that's just if I had to offer anything, still fabulous none the less

i really like the look of this. The layers of it, with the trees, and the cloud, the mist, and the texture of the castle. Looks cool.

Hot damn this is looovely. I simply adore all your landscapes! They have such wonderful atmospheres to them. I love the mist effect, it's used really well. n.n
I think the bit at the bottom of the frame in the middle looks a weensy bit too...eh... symmetrical for my liking.
But the rest sure is fan-dabby-dozey! I wanna live there! *pout*

really nice use of colour, much more varied palette than some of your other pieces.
The little spashes of brighter colours really lift the house out of the picture.
