At long last, my Flooded series is complete! This is my most experimental of the three as I used gouache, alcohol, salt, and sgraffito to help achieve this.

This whole series started when I decided to go kayaking one afternoon the day before my cousin graduated from Duke. I was feeling adventurous and decided to go into some flooded ares of the woods. I took some photos of what I saw, later on I decided that it would be a great idea to turn some of the photos into paintings. I picked out what I thought were the three best and the rest is history.
