Description
This is an old drawing I made but never used it for anything. I had to erase some words and a MCdonald's sign but everything else remained the same. The character in the drawing was made by me. I took reference from a photo from Time Square, because of the big screens and the look it has, to give me inspiration to create an "imaginary" yet real city look. It remidns me of Shibuya which also has big screens and is a great commercialized city. To explain why I only painted the character, the drawing required that I only painted one important thing and for me the character has special meaning. Funny that people asks me if it's a girl or a boy It was intended to be a boy but oh wellz, I like that cuz that way you can say it could be anyone in the world Anyways I think the city looks great like that Took me a whole week to finish it took little breaks to eat, shower, and sleep cuz I really wanted to see it finished FAST (unlike many of my other works...). I usually make 11x14 drawings but this was bigger than that (16x24 aprox.) Wish I had it in me to go back and fix that ugly car over there :0 but I'm too lazy.
