In order to get the proper atmosphere for this one, listening to eitherΒ Chirp orΒ Mellohi by C418 is recommended... just for fun.Practiced some perspective for this one! I'm slowly but surely getting the hang of backgrounds, and I'm quite proud of this one.
Looks like poor Caesar got the smallest room in the house. It's under the stairs, even! Oh well. As long as it's large enough for him to mope around and sleep alright in, it should be fine!
If you're wondering why he's blushing, he's a bit... buzzed. Also edited because I forgot the stains on his clothing!

Yeah... it's the perfect size to sit around in and enjoy a cup of tea, at least! (I just realized that, unintentionally, based on scaling Caesar would have to curl up into the fetal position in order to sleep on that bed. It's as sad as it is funny.)
Thank you! I made it so that his arms can kinda... do weird things now (since they're drawn in a rubber-hose style), and I think it has potential to make him more expressive!

I love how this background looks! It matches perfectly with your style, and I love all the details in it! The closeness of everything gives it a claustrophobic feel! This time around, it may have had something to do with the fact that it was originally a traditional sketch? Idk, I feel like I'm better at drawing perspective/backgrounds in general traditionally
Y'know, every time I get a comment like that I realize more and more that "heyyy, maybe this character isn't nearly as unlikable as you intended him to be?"
It's not a bad thing, but I can't believe how well-liked Caes ended up being.

I get that! All the architectural stuff is always easier to draw traditionally, I feel. At least, for me rulers are nicer then the shift-method photoshop forces me to do, lol
I think its the sad moments like these that make us empathize with him. He may be an ugly murder guy, but he's got a heart in there, ya know? Plus, he's got a super appealing design, and I don't mean handsome. Your style is crisp and dynamic and fun to look at and that's what's appealing!
