I adore this work.
I feel like insides are erupting with peace and divine inspiration or something equally bizarre sounding.
It's beautiful regardless.

sure! It won't be for a while, but the way you did the bark and stuff is exactly what im looking for, its so difficult to find good tree art for some reason. thanks for letting me use it as a ref tho!

ordinary trees are indeed paradoxical, because of their fractal nature: veins of a leaf, for instance, has a similar geometry of branches of the tree. so is the distribution of branchs coincides with the roots'. i think the image reflects this concept from an exaggerated perspective.

Christ...I strive to do this kind of artwork...how frustrating to see someone acheive it perfectly. Well, in a good way.

I must now must this...I'll study it and maybe do a version on it in the distant future.

Very nice Its looks like it should be in some medieval illuminated manuscript, as a border maybe. I love the decorative sirly vines. It's quite reminiscent of art nouveau. I particularly like the lizard and the shoot thats growing out of the roots. Alas, my comment isnt particularly constructive, sorry, I just cant see much how this could be improved, except maybe the shape the vines form could be more symmetrical, the skewed heart shape feels a little awkward to look at.

I've been staring at this pic for a while, trying to figure out what it means
It's such an interesting piece, it caught my attention right away!
I love this piece
does tangles them selves represent the pardox in life? how every side is contradicted by others?
if it is not then I will try to harder to figure out it's meaning ^^- great job

It's the tree of possibilities. It was invented by Bernard Werber, it's supposed to represent all the different paths, all the possibilities of what could happen in the future.

Wow, very nice. I love how the tree seems to be untwining and twining at the same time, and the texture of the paper goes with this drawing very well. However, I wish you'd brought out the flowers more- they almost blend into the paper. One question, though- is the top of the tree intentionally flat? It almost looks cut off, which kind of conflicts with the rest of the drawing. Anyway, fantastic work! Welcome to deviantART.
