I love the pattern you painted onto the steel; or as I first put it: 'Er that knur on da 'rmour iz ser ermergerd!' Β

LOL.Β
The steel is pretty much drybrush and washes, but I drybrushed in a way to create a pattern on it, to make it look like some sort of skin texture, or similar.Β

Well, they call them dinobots for a reason...Β

Is that why when commanded going "paws out," they transform from rustling carrier bags?

Ahh, so that's why when they transform they seem to be having so much noisy fun in there! *slaps forehead*

Thank you!Β
I cannot understand why GW manages to include such adorkable things on their big nasties. There's always something on all of them, even the Stonehorn!Β

Apparently what the guys had in mind when making these tough nuts was an 'evil forgeworld.'

Most like. They are called "dinobots" by the community, so that turned out well... More stuff in line with the current design philosophy for Chaos coupled with stuff akin to the Defiler would have worked better, imho. Making the forgefiend closer to a miniature Warhound Titan maybe and the heldrake more of an airplane rather than a many-arseholed dragon.Β
No, I am not in love with the Heldrake.Β

Feetsie brings the fire, iron, and doom to the worlds of man. And looks good in the gold trim and hazard stripes while doing it.

There's gonna have to be a lot of meltaguns and lascannons to take this thing down.
The gold and brass work brilliantly against the skin. And the discarded Imperial Fist helmets are a nice touch as well. Reinforces the narrative on the rivalry between the Iron Warriors and the Imperial Fists.

It tends to die fast in games, because it is such a threat. But when it does survive longer times than round 1 of the enemy, it causes havoc. Inv save 5+ and It Will Not Die helps a lot. AV 12 front and sides and 10 at the back is narky. But higher AV and the cost would be a bit over 200 pts.Β
