Description
Another test painting for my book concept, trying out some new painting techniques in this one. The brown falcon griffin is a swift, fierce hunter of the skies, divebombing its prey from great heights. This swallow has no chance.Relatively quick painting based on an old sketch I rediscovered in my sketchbooks recently. ~ 2 hrs in Photoshop CS6.

Hmm you know I made this particular sketch so long ago, it might have been influenced by that movie! I haven't seen it since it came out. I have the griffin toy from the McDonald's Happy Meal somewhere in my house though

its a great movie x3 I haven't watched it in a looong time either. haha I never had the happy meal toy though, that's pretty awesome
