These are my plauge marines. Not much conversion here im afraid. That why I prefer plastic to metal, so muck easier to mix n match.For anyone who doesn't know, the marines come with their heads, bodies and legs as one block, and the sholders attached to the arms.
Still, I used alot of different parts. 2 plasma pistols. power sword for the champion, and a pointy hand from the chaos havocs set.

What diff by the way on Space marines, imperial guard and sisters of battle? they are like different races in the game but their all human...

your not very fimiliar with 40k then? its cool. Imperial Guard (IG) are humans, sisters of battle are also human, though only women can join, and they have better tech and spiritual powers. Space marines are super humans, geneticaly and cyberly enhanced.

lalala space marines have acid spit, lalala imperial guards "especially guardsmen" are cowards, lalala i dont know how space marines go to the toilet, lalala terra has no oceans, lalala Dreadnaught invented as a walking coffin, lalala space marines practically have a complete redo in their body functions, lalala terminators are too heavy for a tank bullet to make them fly, lalala are the 3 races mentioned earlier allies?

one? i paint the whole squad together, and then photo them as a squad. No-one ever looks at single minitures.

Cool Plague Marines ya got there. Very Death Guard'ish, brownish green and blue eyes. Plague Marines are awesome.

They definitely look gritty! The paler green makes them look older and more sickly than the Plague Marines you see in the Codex.

I have always loved Plague Marines, I'm not sure why, and your's are some of the best I have seen.
I am afraid I have yet to face them on the field of battle, but I have herd that they kinda suck, well described as having to fight up hill, is it true?

My favorite style of painting is drybrushing, as you get a real, griity effect. Im not all that into highlighting. Its a style that worked perfectly for my plague marines. I drybrushed up increasingly lighter coats of every green i had, added some brown and finished with a very light coat of brown.
There very good on the battlefeild. They have a toughness of 5, which when added to their armor save of 3+ and feel no pain ability makes them almost imposible to kill at long range.
They are quite expensive though. I got a 6 man squad for about 150 points.

Yes I to believe that dry brushing is the way to go and highlighting is overrated, makes model to cartoony for me.

yea, and feel no pain doesn't work against power weapons. I think they're more ment as ranged troops.
