Bio

Percy is a kind yet cheeky boy who attends Sodor Community College and works part time at his family's postal service, 'Avonside X-Press'. Percy's family moved to Sodor when his older sister Liz was accepted into Harwick College and set up a postal service in order to support her. Once he was old enough, Percy became the go-to delivery boy for his family's business; a task he found challenging to do on his own, but one day he met Thomas Billinton, who showed him kindness by assisting him with his job. Grateful for this and upon discovering that he had nowhere to go, Percy offered Thomas both a place to stay and a job to help him get by, to which the latter accepted and the two quickly became best friends, with the other Avonsides treating him like one of their own.

Due to his small stature and admittedly cowardly demeanor, Percy is frequently teased by the older students at SCC and while he might not bounce back as much as Thomas, he doesn't let it get to him for long and does eventually get even with those who mock him. But Percy's biggest weakness is that he's incredibly accident-prone and gets into many scrapes on a regular basis, either by his own silliness or by his plans backfiring; the most embarrassing instance for him was during the Ffarquhar Confectionery Trade Show when he tried to stop a runaway cart, only to be knocked into a chocolate fountain and covered head to toe in melted chocolate.

Percy greatly admires his sister Liz, seeing her as a personal hero and someone he can always count on if he needs her. Though when he was eight, Liz introduced her new boyfriend Ryan Johnson to the family and Percy became a little apprehensive; thinking that she wouldn't be able to make time for him anymore, though his worries were put to rest quickly when Liz assured him that she'll never forget who's more important to her. After Liz graduated college and moved with Ryan to study at the University of Cambridge, Percy still kept in touch with her and she visited him on every holiday. Upon being informed that Liz and Ryan were engaged, Percy was overjoyed for his sister; even more so when she asked him to be her Man of Honour for the ceremony, which he accepted without hesitation.

Percy's own luck with the opposite sex has been less than stellar, either by him tripping over himself out of nervousness or by the lack of interest on anyone else's part. He has plenty of female friends, some of which he has gone to dances and parties with, but only as friends. The only girl he's had the closest thing to a relationship with is Polly "Lady" Stone, but he barely sees her as she mostly stays in Muffle Mountain with her grandfather, and only comes to school infrequently.

Bright and cheerful, cheeky yet kind, Percy's optimism always shines through and pushes him to try his best at anything he can. Though he loves to have fun, if nonsense goes too far, he won't stand for it and will do whatever he can to settle the matter.
