While he comes off as a little awkward at first, Edward is actually known to be quite charming. He always seems to know just what to say and is a comforting presence to most people. He likes to give his time to others whether he is helping them out with their studies or giving people advice on their music. He believes that anyone can do better, so when asked for a critique, he'll make sure not to skip out on the details! He believes that everyone can improve even at higher levels, so he won't coddle anyone if they ask for a critique.

Being a true romantic, Edward often finds himself being overly sentimental. He let's his emotions make decisions for him rather than simply relying on his own logic. He dreams and hopes for things that are highly unrealistic, only to be disappointed when things don't work out in his favor. While Edward is friendly to most people he meets, it is hard to know him on a deep, personal level. Most of his friendships are at face value, and to someone more perceptive, it seems disingenuous. It seems that he only does so much for others to make up for the lack of actual emotional closeness he feels for someone.

Biography:

Ever since he was little, Edward had a passion for music. His parents were musicians themselves, so they were thrilled that their own child wanted to follow in their footsteps. They fostered Edward's interest in music at a young age, and they helped him develop his musical talents. They promised to provide Edward with whatever instrument he would like to try. The piano is the one that captured his eye first. While he lacked a natural talent for the piano (something his tutor reminded him often), his fathers continued to push him to work harder to overcome his lack of talent. Not wanting to give up, Edward continued to practice. Even though he was just a small child, he continued to practice the piano in his spare time instead of playing outside or being with friends his own age. Eventually his hard work paid off, and he was finally able to play the piano with ease.

Once he entered middle school, he found himself becoming more and more distant from his fellow peers. He had spent so much time practicing his music and studying for school that he didn't put in enough time to socialize with others. Determined to make friends and following his musical background, he joined a band made by fellow students. While their genre wasn't exactly his forte, he had a good time with the people he met. He began to write music for them to perform. The way all the instruments blended together to make a beautiful song made him proud of his own work. Far prouder than playing any complicated piano piece. He continued to practice writing music for different genres.

In high school, Edward's band friends urged him to pursue his musical career. He entered a lot of musical competitions for composing and piano, hoping that he could make a decision on whether to continue pursuing performance piano which he had worked so hard to perfect or to compose music which he found to be more rewarding. Soon enough, Edward found himself becoming quite well-known in his high school for his musical prowess. It was a little embarrassing for him to be so known among his peers, but it gave him yet another opportunity to branch out and make new friends thanks to music.

Soon, his senior year approached and he had yet to make a decision what he wanted to do. He entered his last two competitions, one for piano and one for composing. While he lost the one of composition while winning his piano competition, he thought of the time in middle school that he had with his close friends. The time he spent in that small room writing music for them to perform was a time he could look back on fondly. From that moment, he made his decision to continue composition.

He always had his eyes set on Clefford Conservatory, and he applied there for his undergraduate degree in piano. Finding London and the school to be a perfect fit for him, he decided to stay and continue his post-graduate studies there, finally being able to learn about composing at the professional level.

Whether he is performing or composing, Edward's style if very lyrical and whimsical. Most of his works have a very delicate feeling to them where its integrity is dependent even on the slightest pressure of a musician's finger tips. Parallel to his own sentimental nature, Edward writes and plays his music in hopes that the audience's own emotions are stirred or that they are overcome with a sense of nostalgia. When he writes music, Edward envisions a time, a place, and an emotion, and he hopes that his audience can feel and see the same vision that he does.
