A social butterfly that is drawn to large crowds. While he is friendly and has a generally good atmosphere about him, he can come off as haughty with his formal speech patterns (even if his behavior is anything but). Although he might seem like he has put himself out there for all to see, he's actually quite a secretive individual. Never letting anyone know what he's really thinking or feeling behind his seemingly pleasant appearance.

He is a prideful individual and hates to show weakness, which often results in a stubborn nature and a refusal to admit his wrong-doings. He’s also very demanding; Dimitri’s always expecting others to reach his level of expectations if you don’t manage to reach them, he’ll become frustrated and take the task to himself (as he is obviously perfect and can do no wrong).
Dimitri’s a highly ambitious person and isn’t afraid to push things like rules to the side to get what he wants. He is responsible in hiding his tracks of rule-breaking however. There’s nothing wrong with getting there the old fashioned way either. Dimitri doesn’t mind working hard to reach his goals as he is a very determined individual. If he wants it, he’ll get it. He’d never let his ambitions get in the way of his morals though. He’s extremely kind towards others and won’t mind accommodating to other’s needs. Dimitri shows an unnatural amount of compassion for others (even if he won't admit). He shows no discrimination towards others until the first impression is made. From then on out, it’s pretty hit or miss.

{ B a c k g r o u n d }
Despite being born to a pureblood family known for their elitist views, Dimitri never adapted to their beliefs. This was perhaps due to the fact his family was never there. While definitely not neglected (he was fantastically spoiled), a busy work schedule and galas more fitted for adults kept the parents away. Dimitri was more or less left to the company of the house elves in his home who were kind and attentive to the young master’s needs.
Growing up, he would read many books, but the ones that truly captured his interests were the ones about heroes and adventure. It seemed that his “ordinary” life being stuck in a large home just wasn’t satisfying enough. It was dull and average to say the least. Dimitri always yearned for a life of adventure and was almost hoping for a little misfortune to go his way just so he can be excited about the grey world.
When his letter to Hogwarts arrived, he was thrilled! Perhaps this new school would provide the interesting spice in his life that he so desired.
Upon arrival, he was sorted into the Slytherin house (although the Hat did contemplate Gryffindor for a good bit) where he was immediately uncomfortable. Dimitri was more than aware of his house’s unseemly reputation, and he refused to be recognized for it. Due to his timid nature (what can you expect from a child that rarely ventured out of the house for 10 years?), he wasn’t able to do much about standing out until he was able to hold a position as quidditch commentator in his fourth year.
Due to recent events in his sixth year, he realizes that perhaps that life of adventure and thrill was not what he wanted. He tries to shoulder all the responsibility of what happened, and he has seemed to have aged considerably. A light seems to have flickered out of Dimitri’s eyes as he becomes more and more wrapped in a world of guilt.

As the year has passed by, Dimitri has learned to leave the ghost haunting his past behind him. While he is still curious as to what led up the beloved Professor's death, he won't let her image haunt his mind any longer. He has seemed to gain back his once bright smile. Seeing as the end of his time at Hogwarts is coming, Dimitri wants to reach out to more people before he leaves.
