Simple. I like it. Overall, I don't really have much of an issue here.
I think Nora's arm which is holding the camera in the picture looks weird: I think it should be decreasing in thickness as one travels the length of the camera to the edge of the picture.
Ren's hair's looking a little short, and I don't see the pink streak? (could just be me though).
One could say some small details like Nora's ear's interior could be a bit more detailed, but I don't think it takes away too much from the picture's purpose.
Still think the characters are looking a little too flat on their faces: can't fault you for that since that's just the RWBY style, but I think it would be best to deviate a bit more from the style to flesh out the characters more, ut that's just me.
Nice touch with the tears in the letter.
Overall, great piece. Can't wait to see your next one!

I'm gonna point out the not so good stuff first.
- Ruby's head seems kinda long
- Nora's arm is too blurred near her sleeve and not blurred enough near the camera.
- Nora's ear could be more detailed
Now that that stuff is out of the way:
- the lighting is beautiful
- the textures give it a really nice tone
- the lettering must've been either hard as hell or has been copy-pasted. Either way it looks really well done.
- Realistic paper and photograph
- nice pen
- awesome and fitting character expressions
- the "the end" at the bottom gives it a nice tone. You don't see it immediately, which is good.
- you included details like Ruby's teardrops blurring the paper, and of course, her striking through the last sentence.
- flower power for the win
- nice lense flare
Overall, a beautiful drawing and one of my favourites so far. I also like the idea of them just rushing through her door trying to cheer her up and her being all flustered about it all. Your artstyle is also working really well with all of this.

I think Ren's hair is missing his pink streak, and his costume looks a little like the old one than the new one. XD
I love the character expressions and colouring here! XD I also love the character posture and the touch of Ruby's teams falling on the letter itself.
At least no one died in this Volume, but I have a feeling the next one we may see a climbing body count. It's always the calm before the storm.

a good ending to the season. it felt really small to me, prob caz it was cut up between all 4 rwby girls... hell I don't think anyone besides ruby had a full episode just of themselves, and ruby had, what, one? two?... Weiss and yang really got nothing for the... maybe 3-4 eps they were in... and they were only half eps... black got a lot of love, prob caz of all the info she got this season (her home town, her mom and dad, the white fang, ect).
I also felt a bit sick all the time watching it, prob of the fear of someone dying. thank god no main cast died...
all in all a ok season. being a new arc it had to start somewhere.. lets hop for bigger and better things for the next seasons!

Good endings mate. And good to see noone died (except that one hunter that RNJR found, but that's about Β it). I give it two volumes till someone important dies.

Now I love the show all together, but I HATE how fast the story is going and how the action is not that exciting anymore.Β The journey to Mistral should have at least taken one and a half Volumes, if not two.Β Β Tops.Β I feel like they're rushing the story a bit too much.Β Trying to speed up the work on the show and NOT taken their time with it.Β Trying to get team RWBY back together as soon as possible so the fans won't track down the RT creators and murder them.
On top of that, with Monty gone (may he rest in peace), the action to the show has taken more of a... 'backseat' in general.Β Don't get me wrong, I doΒ love character development, especially in this last Volume.Β But the main reason why I fell in love with this series was because of the JAW-DROPING action that Monty gave us.Β Monty knew how to mix the action, comedy, characters, world, story-line, and pacing them allΒ together.Β Perfectly.Β The prime examples of that are the first two Volumes.Β Sadly, when he passed away, things really started to somewhat... fall apart.Β Now everything from the action to the pacing of the story is no longer stable.Β Now it just feels rushed and, while the world and characters look beautiful, looks unpolished.Β Like they should have taken more time to prepare the show to the point where it IS ready.
Overall, still a fan of the show.Β But now being... skeptical of what RT is putting out for us.

you say the trip to mistral should of taken longer... but you seem to forget the time skip from season 3 to 4 was about 6-8 months..... so that's over half a year of walking... you try and do that when at the same time fighting grimm and helping out other towns! lol
also, ruby says she bad at handΒ writing stuff, prob caz there all used to typing on there scrolls.... prob like us nowadays with our computers and phones. also its prob not "our English" she's writing. so for all we know its how it should look, lol
