well stab me with a carrot and call me brian, this is gorgeous _O: - dual lighting is something that's incredibly difficult on a terrain, accomplished VERY well here, nebula is gorgeous, so are planets. Transition is good, although the middle feels a *tiny* bit empty (considering the planet is inhabited, you could've worked something into that) - the base thing is ok, except a little flat... but the composition is fabulous and overall, a crime to not fav. Loving it.

stunning brushwork on the nebula!! Personally though, Id tweak the horizon where the planets meet with the landscape.

Wow. Love that nebula/pulsar. Although I'm really not too sure about the smaller planet, and the shielded city by infernall doesn't look too convincing. But it's a lovely piece all the same!

a few suggestions (most of which i probably couldn't achieve myself, but meh). the terrain surfaces are a little bit plain, and i think there should either be more green grass, smoother grass, or both. the bright light beside the lower planet seems to be overtop of it... which i suppose COULD be possible because of a glare, but still kinda strange. i like how its there though, thats really cool, it looks great. the opper planet is amazing too, i love the clouds on it. The stars could use a little more dust, and maybe if you made them look like they were behind the random space brushing stuff that looks cool, then the stars would look more 3D.

also... the dome looks like its been hotboxed, haha. still an awesome city, and great idea.

oh... but if they have to live in a dome, how is that guy standing outside of it on a hill? i can't tell if he has a space suit on or not... and is he even really proportional or should he be smaller? ... i'm no good with those details..

still, this is a great piece

hehe - I knew the little man would get a comment - I used about 60 layers in the texturing btw - so it's strange how it looks bland. . . but meh

well there are certain parts of the terrain that look amazing, like where the original sunlight is hitting the terrain in some spots looks brilliant... i think its just that since you had the grass showing with such a low max slope, it seems really... scattered.

What i usually do is have a whole bunch of grassy textures, each stopping at a different slope heither, and some stopping a minimum slope heights, that makes it very some more. but yes, the terrain does look really good in some spots, i also like the grass to the bottom right of the hill the guy is standing on, it looks really cool there.

hey you can have my texture if you want but yah I agree with you on the scattered bit, but it's supposed to be a desert, and, you know, maybe the sand storms made those wavy shapes out of the grass - thanks for the comments!

About that llittle guy we had the same discussionrunning here but giving him a helmet or something was not possible becouse of the scale. He is there to emphesise how big the rest is and the rest like the suit and stuff is for your imagination Tnx for commenting in this way btw appreciated

I'm i suppre if you did put the outline of a helmet nobody would have been able to tell anyways eh... maybe if you had him hooked up to a rover? lol... (you said use my imagination so i did, haha)
