Another image in my chain of fan art.I decided to do Pinkie Pie again, mainly because the last one didn't really look like her.
This time around i drew her as a Chaos Lord instead of a berzerker, and I'm much more happy with how this one came out.

I know you know that I don't like MLP, but if the cartoon looked like this I would love it! XD if only they would make some new gruesome cartoons for kids, just like they did in the 80's & 90's... Gargoyles brings back memories...

well, that's actually one of the reasons many of us bronies enjoy this new show lol. it's just so positive compared to the usual, grim programming, while still having good characterizations and good quality to it.
it's a nice alternative to most of the stuff i usually enjoy, which includes shows like the walking dead and sparticus

and why do you have to hate things that are ponified? does having a pony in this picture make it a bad image? i thought i did rather ok with it...
honestly, i thought some of you would appreciate a little bit of morbid crossovers...this picture is more of a parody than anything, and you guys do have quite the number of MLP fans in your group :3.

As far as I know, it's against it's out-of-control fandom and their excesses, including ridiculous/weird/over the top fanfiction, unnecessary ponifications and MLP publicity spam.
Honestly? Yes. Having a thing I dislike (MLP) mixed with something I like (W40k) make it a bad image for me. It works for you because you are mixing two things you like, and because of that I respect it. But it has been submitted to a place where it's completely out of place, and because of that I attacked it.
How can it be a parody? It's exactly the same most bronies do. Having the pony part looking all mutated and mean and throwing W40k into the mix doesn't make it any different.

but i feel you're reacting to this a bit illogically, stating that you would leave a community of like minded individuals just because of ONE instance of someone posting something that doesn't seem to fit...and people say we bronies overreact.
I'm honestly trying to be a tolerable brony here, i rather enjoy the humor in this group, as well as the conversations with some people. if you don't want me posting that kind of art, ill seriously consider more...i guess offensive...pieces (i have an image in the works with applejack as a plague marine, her face is just absolutely mutilated).
on a more personal note, i CANNOT see the issue with ponifications, why does it bother people so much? i see everything turned into anime everywhere, and i rather dislike anime, yet i don't feel the need to speak out and advocate against it -_-

Maybe I'm actually overreacting and my opinion doesn't represent the group's one. Looking at it from a distance, that event might not be the real trigger for my willingness to leave that group. I never felt myself that much integrated here.
You are a bronie, I dislike anything having to do with MLP. I actively try to keep away from bronies because I understand they (don't) enjoy arguing against anti-bronies as much as I do, and I don't like to attack other people's interests even when I hate them.
I'm sure I can enjoy your art as long as ponies where left out of the picture. If you bring your bronie side, it won't work. That's mainly why I dislike ponification. It's difficult to share our common interests if they are mixed with things we dislike.
I can understand you disliking anime crossovers, it's more or less the same on that sense. Personally, I find it different in that anime is a teen/adult focused animation style which can adapt to many themes without making them awkward, whereas MLP is marketed for children/teen girls (with a strangely anacronistic fandom)

don't worry, I will take more consideration when posting art to the group, i can see where you're coming from, and im sorry for offending.
and in actuality, i think quite a few bronies do like to argue with anti bronies lol. Though i personally am not one to argue, i only discuss and inform people on things i feel are being misconceived.
for instance, in reference to your last sentence there, many of you just see it as a bunch of older men obsessing over a little girl's tv show, when there is far more to it than that.
we recognize it as a show dedicated towards little girls, but it was also made with the intention of being able to appeal to older people, for the parent's sake. we find joy in this show, not for its girlishness, or its childishness, but because it's just good storytelling with a positive atmosphere. It acted far more mature than what we expected, and in the event of realizing the show had quality and merit to it, and just how different it was to everything we were used to, we became fans. but it went further than that, i actually started RELATING to some of the characters (especially twilight). their personalities and dialogue just came off as real to me, and in realization of this relation, everything about the show just got better.
i would NEVER have considered drawing a pony in anything, much less drawing one of my favorite characters of all time, Jon Irenicus (baldur's gate 2), as a pony. but because of my love for the show, i rejoice in drawing these things, because it not only perpetuates my fandom of those other things that i love, but also my love for the show. we don't always ponify things just to go "lol it's a pony", we honestly do it to show our fandom of other things.
why do i love the show so much? i honestly cannot tell you. I am quite obsessed with it (though it doesn't interfere with my responsibilities, i still go to school full time while maintaining straight A's and attending the honors program), and i find myself smiling with joy and excitement at the prospect of a new episode when a saturday approaches.
I do enjoy high quality productions such as The Walking Dead and Dexter. and where MLP cannot ever hope to match the kind of quality as those programs, i do enjoy MLP far more than watching either the walking dead or dexter.
what im trying to get at is that even though YOU guys view it as just another girls show, we see it as having a sense of maturity to it, and we like it for those mature reasons, but in wake of warming up to the show, we have become far more acceptable to its more feminine/childish qualities (there are quite a few things that irk me though..).

It's really refreshing and constructive to get a glimpse of that different point of view. I can't say I could be able to share it, but I have gained a little more understanding of your motivations.
I can't think I'm all tough and manly because I find the same kind of relating to characters in Marvel comics, shounen manga or Warhammer background instead of MLP characters, when those interest are in fact no more than cartoons and toy games.
I, and a lot more of "anti-bronies", am not a paragon of maturity, either.
I'm going to check your gallery, by the way. I want to know more about your interests outside of MLP.

personally, i find it hilarious crossing these two franchises lol. I mean, what's not hilarious about a pink pony jacked up in a giant suit of bloodied, Gothic style power armor while morbidly screaming "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!", pretty much the most extreme opposites on the spectrum XD.
of course i would never take a warhammer 40k MLP image seriously, but the show/brony fandom has sparked my artistic muse, and warhammer 40k is something i love to draw, so i decided to draw the two together.
so anyways, do you think this is a bad picture? or what?

that's something i notice a lot...people often look at the lazily made (or beginner made) artwork and use that as a reason to dislike everything else related...
in which, i agree with you there. it is rather tiresome seeing people make an effort to ponify things without a sense of quality control.
but, even if i wasn't a fan of MLP, i would still be able to respect some of the artwork that is made crossing over certain franchises with MLP, so long as it was made with quality (such as this one image of celestia as the god emperor made by john joseco, so much detail in that picture!).
which is why i drew these characters (which i hold dear to my heart lol) so morbidly, because out of respect for the WH40K franchise, i had to make the morbidity the most daunting feature. hell, I'm in the midst of drawing applejack as a plague marine, and her face is mutilated beyond all recognition XD.
