At the request of a friend of mine, I drew Vinyl scratch in spartan (halo) armor, holding a grenade launcher (the sword was something I added in, he didn't mind lol).The image was originally going to be clean, nothing but lines and such, but I decided to go all out on it, including coloring.
The only real difficulty I had was with some of the perception/anatomy. For a period of time, I couldn't get one of her arms to look right, and I was stuck trying to decide what position her right leg should be in, until FINALLY it hit me to have it turned one was and not the other.
Hope you enjoy this picture of vinyl Scratch that I did, I had a ton of fun drawing it.

Grenade launcher and energy sword? Psh...please. Everypony knows Vinyl would use her trusty BASS CANNON! Possibly a shoulder-fired, mare-portable version that functions a bit like a Spartan Laser...pull the trigger, charge it up, and KABOOM! Drop the bass all over your enemies, and shatter their bones and armor with the power of your WUBS! But I will say, the energy sword is nice and glowy and rave-y, so I'd bet she actually WOULD use it for close quarters.
Hey I just noticed something...ponies and Elites have the same back legs almost! Yeah, Vinyl here looks a bit more like an Elite than a Spartan. Very nice anthro pony work here, I normally am not a super-huge fan of anthro ponies, but I AM a ginormous Halo nerd and I appreciate seeing one of my favorite background ponies in Spartan armor
