Got a new image today, the Mane 6 as spartans from halo reach.

This one took way too long to do...it was just a constant cycle of getting distracted and forgetting about the image. Not to mention that some of the characters gave me far too much trouble, fluttershy primarily. She had a much larger, more detailed wing, and it looked great at first. But the moment I tried to add color, it just fell apart, and so I decided to redo it altogether.

I tried adding detailed scenery, but this image helped me realize just how much I sucked at doing that, so I went with a bit more simple background.

The original idea was to draw the mane 6 as noble team from the game Halo Reach, but I decided against that and just used some elements from them (parts of the armor/weapons, applejack is the closest to being one of the members of noble team).

I started getting lazy with the image in general towards the end, mostly because it was nearly a month ago when I started it. I bet if I was consistent, and didn't get so distracted so easily, it would have been finished the first couple of hours I started. I've got several pictures that are the exact same case, and I'm hoping I'll finish them, because there have been some that I've never finished in the past.

Anyways, I'm so happy to have finished the picture. I love starting projects and it's satisfying to get them done, but when they remain unfinished for WHATEVER reason, it just crushes me in some way.
