A birthday cake I whipped up in a hurry for a colleague's kid.It is a Red Velvet cake inside, so when it's cut, Spidey's signature red-and-blue colour scheme will hopefully be bold enough to wow two dozen little children...

And yes, I'm told it was a huge hit with the boys - I felt a bit sorry for the girls, though. Luckily the littyle guy's friends were mostly male.
Next time I'll get such a commission, I'll try and persuade my customer to let me make two smaller cakes, so that I can balance things out a little. I grew up watching robot anime and the Ninja Turtles, but some girls out there love their princesses...
