Somehow, drawing Alucard's face is... I don't know, therapeutic for me. It's one of the few things I can draw quite quickly and easily, almost by instinct. Something about the curvature of his eyes and face make it super easy for me.
So yeah, basically any surface that can hold pigment that I own is covered in Alucard's face.
Last night I was freaking out over a math test and it was late and I was getting tired and cold, not to mention that I was having some art tension fill up (you know, when you feel inspired to draw something but can't? Either because you're not sure what to draw or don't have the time to... with the release of MCR's new album I've been super "art-tensioned" to do some fanart and stuff but just... can't...) so I started drawing a quick sketch and it made me feel much better.
Tried to make the hair look nicer in this one... man, everyone in Hellsing has like, all these teeth in their mouth, but they're always so tiny. It sort of cracks me up.
It's just a sketch, but constructive crit always appreciated. ^^

He's just so... graceful... in his rage management. HE IS AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL.

OH MAN PIP. I love the wild geese's scene in the third ova. Especially with Seras v. Pip.
I didn't enjoy the first OVA as much because of the pacing and animation issues, but hopefully the blu-ray release will fix that?

I can completely understand the whole "art-tension". I've been wanting to work on a piece that I planned out in my head, but I JUST DON'T HAVE THE TIME T.T
I spent only about 10 minutes everyday (that's all I can spare...) on it and I'm starting to get frustrated at how slow it's progressing.
And now, feedback time

GOOD JOB I APPROVE.
I like the expression, except I personally find the direction his eye is looking is a bit... okay, it makes it look like he's doing the troll face .__.
And, the inside of his mouth shouldn't be grey. There shouldn't be a light source there so make it dark.
I like that you used red in his hair as highlights, it helped bring the entire black-white-red colour scheme together. You also didn't add too much blood spatters. WHICH IS GOOD. sometimes I see people put too much effects and extra stuff it distracts from the actual focal point.

Ah, good point, I see what you're saying about the mouth. ^^
Yeah, I don't have photobucket or anything, so I don't have any brushes or splatters, I gotta do everything by hand. I guess it sort of helps because then it prevents things from getting contrived? I've seen a lot of stamp looking blood splatters.
I love how you automatically took on the role of the husband. I guess that makes me the waifu. XD

Actually, I hate it when people use spatter brushes they download from the net.
I mean, if you haven't, read my long rant in my journal.
It's better if you customize your own brush or just use filters, textures, etc to make spatters.

Daw, thanks. At first it was just going to be a flat 2d sketch, but I've done so many of those, I decided to add some shading. >.<

I think your drawings are pretty dynamic just because of the organic curves you use and everything, but yes, sketches are always the most so.
