Description Some blossom on a shrub or small tree at Foxley Woods. I've no idea what it is, the flowers were about 10mm across, maybe a little less and it was covered in them.

I'm pretty sure it is something in the Rosaceae family...but that doesn't narrow it down much, because that Family includes many flowering fruit trees, and berry bushes.

i'll look into that. I really still have no idea but hopefully if it fruits later in the year I might have a better clue

plum blossoms? hah prolly miles offbase, but we have a plum tree up front that's completely covered in little white flowers and its a tree now, cuz its old, but if it was younger would prolly resemble a bush because of multiple stemmage x3

still a very gorgeous shot :3 how do you get the detailed close-ups? just a professional camera?

I'm not sure the 40D is classed as a professional camera but it's better than the 350D I had . The closeup detail is mainly down to the lens, an EF-S 60mm macro (I like it lots ) and a tripod helps keep things steady when up close - the lens has a very short minimum focusing distance of about 20cm which means in reality the subject can be just 5 or 6 cm in front of the lens.
