Inspired by Fuego96's FL_Chan, this is the first track I made for my school project thing. I quite like how it turned out

I had no idea you could even put sound clips/music on DA. I'm glad you can though, this is another awesome song. I like the beat to it. Its another one that gets my artistic juices flowing.

This is some amazing stuff. I didnt even know that DA had a music option! It's got a nice kung-fu theatre vibe to it, and is good chill music. Too bad it's so short, and extended cut would be awesome.

Definitely your best track on here. The keys are big and soulful and that bendy chime sounding synth just sits well with me.

ah I love this track. When I go on Youtube to find nice songs to listen to while I draw, I always hope for them to have the same amount of awesome sound as I find in this song that you have created.

At first I thought this was going to be an ambient track, so I was like... "c: Hmmm... okay."Β
Then the piano comes in, and I have to say, the notes you used made me smile. The melody of it is awesome! Something about it makes me think of an adventure. So after that comes in, I'm like... "C:"Β
Then the near DnB drums kick in... "8D"Β
Then that flute and I'm totally happy and smiling now. Far beyond "8D".Β
I think the title you chose for this fits it really well! Gives me the sense of travelling far and wide, and most of the times the journey is solo, is what I imagine. I really love this, and you deserve a fave because of its epicness. ^^

Thanks man, it's nice to get a detailed response like this it makes it so much easier to reply than if you'd just said 'nice'. I hadn't thought of it before, but I guess you can't judge a song as quickly as a picture. Makes me think I should focus more on the intro, since thats what people hear first and it's a bit weak for this song.

Of course! I like commenting, but lately, I haven't been feeling the need to do so XDΒ
And yes, I thought it was going to be purely ambient, I wasn't really expecting the strong piano to come in. But I also think a build up, or progression to a song is fantastic too, and a lot of my music is based on this o:Β
But if you really want to strengthen it, I'd suggest adding a faint 'reminder' of a drumbeat and piano. Not all of the notes, but some, from which you can build on to the main rhythm, if you understand

Awww man. You could try Sekaiju, it's free, but it's way too complicated for me. (I'm a total noob at digital composition so I'm using Anvil Studio and a MIDI to mp3 converter XP)
There's also Reaper... but I haven't personally tried that. Good luck finding some new software, if you're planning to

Well FL studio is the only music program I've used apart from sibelius 6, that said I found it to be one of the hardest programs to learn apart from blener 3d. After getting to grips with it though its really fun to use and has lots of character. As for the piano thing, when writing notes it has a side ways keyboard sort of layout. You can use the keypad on your computer to an extent otherwise I think you'd need a keyboard and plug it in to your computer.
Thanks for all the alternate programs, reaper looks like pretty interessting. If your gonna give FL a go I recomend doing it when you have some solid free days, just so you can get past the initial learning curve quickly
