I decided to do a group piccy with me and my friends poke chicken characters. There are a lot more combuskens there I figured there would be; most people I know like combusken the least out of this line. Anyways, the trainers are and ME! ;DAnyways...I put a lot of effort into deciding the colors for each bird. Chocobo is the father of Ruben and Havoc, so they have the same coloring (BTW Ruben is deceased. He was killed by an Ursaring, but I wanted to add him anyways cause he is a char of mine, living or not). Dawn and Gunther, the two torchics, are also Chocobo's children, so they both match colors.
Chickee has normal torchic colors (she has a scar on her head though), Blixd has normal combusken colors, and Sugimori has the Blaziken colors from the sprite in the game.
Gustav is a shiny combusken, and his design is the closest to the Nintendo design of any of my combuskens. I got him from my good friend He is also Dawn's boyfriend (they're different evo stages but they're about the same age).
Carver's colors are just made up by . She calls it 'pumpkin ice cream color'.
Havoc is stealing Blixd's scarf, btw XD And Blixd is blind so he doesn't know whats going on. Also Blixd has shoulder pads- thats what those black things are.
And Flare is young still so his colors are bright red, and Pyro is elderly so his colors are fading.

I loved my Combusken playing the game. ... I still love my Combusken and little Torchies! I named one of them Aisha, though I usually end up with males... My brother named his Firebird, cuz he likes cars...

Oh, wow. There sure are a lot of them! But I did recognize Chocobo from the preview. I like the feathers on Havoc's head, how they're kinda different from the rest of the Combusken.

btw. i wanna enter the next pcbc... prolly as a writer cause i haet doin comics... and.. for practice, i started writing a battle.... between kranzie and zing ;D I really like it so far. i need to write out the first bit where rico pwns my sandshrew, but so far i've got Rico gettin knocked out by my hitmonchan, then Plague comes out and the hitmonchan has to go back... then my pidgeot Disco Biscuit comes out.. havent finished this part but i know that plague kicks disco's ass. then i need to finish the last part, it'll have all 6 pokemans from each team i think. :3 kranzie loses. but its action packed!

haha i always give up on group pics XD they take too long, im fucken lazy when it comes to the actual drawing stage. i have a shit ton of patience for coloring and BGs tho. xD idk why..
ive read some of the writing entries... some of em are just kinda plain but theres one guy who has coo' plots ;] that guy inspired me to take PCBC writing srsly. and i guess i'll illustrate certain scenes to go along with it.
i typed up part of it but dayuummmm it took forever. its nearly two pages long, and the action takes place over such a short period of time. im gettin descriptive or somethin. when i finish ill send it to ya~ :3

Actually... Not counting Sunny-Castform, Tohda's Magcargo is the ONLY fire-type that any of my characters have. Hahaha, I never realized.

I love how when you draw multiple pokemon of the same species, each still looks totally individual from each other. It's something not nearly enough people do!

Like I wanted to make the older combuskens (chocobo, havoc and ruben) look different from the younger ones. So I made the beaks and the feathers longer and gave them little 'beards'. Thats what the orange markinsg on their chins are, cause rl rosters grow combs and waddles when the grow up, but since combuskens dun have that, I decided to give them the 'beards'. And since Chocobo is a fully mature combusken, is beard goes all the way down his stomach.
And Sugimori is just recently evolved, so he's still kinda short
