Hey look it's a Pokemon!I kinda like this page, but understand that I need to learn how to draw Vulpix better (and maybe just Pokemon in general... why am I writing this comic again?).
Okay, probably some needed explanation here on Jade:
I know it's quite common in the art/literary world to create characters based on one's self, however, I pretty much never have done so. Jade is the one exception. She is a very old character. I created her like 10 or so years ago, for a Pokemon comic, actually. I based her looks and sort of her personality on myself at the time. I even had a red hoodie like the one she wears. My name is not really Jade, but it was a name that I really liked (and still like). Also, since that old Pokemon comic was based on the Pokemon Adventure manga, I was trying to keep with naming my characters after colors (there was also a character called "Teal"). For the purposes of this Nuzlocke, I decided to bring her back as a replacement for the Ethan/Lyra character. Ethan/Lyra's Marril is also replaced by the Vulpix that I always imagined she had. This explanation is mainly to explain that even though she was originally based on myself, this is no longer the case, especially since I've changed quite a lot since middle school and Jade has not changed along with me. So please do not think of her as me as I write this. She's her own person now and she has her own place in this comic. Explanation over.

The Pokemon can talk, I'd always had found that interesting but almost everyone uses it for their nuzlockes x3

Well, they don't technically talk. Will is just able to understand them. If the vulpix were to try to talk to Jade, it'd just sound like a bunch of barks or growls, or vulpix-y noises.

haha yeah i feel like most people don't read them and that is kinda sucky. I tend to not go on and on in most of mine because of that but i really do like rambling about my characters or whatever i was feeling at the time xD
I totally agree. Like there are some characters you make and really love but you just can't find the right fit for them in your story so moving them somewhere else is a really great idea.
