Description
Now we're in a different part of the underground with a familiar face.The "extra" I was going to draw that became this chapter, was literally just going to be this page of Ashley deciding to take his Pokemon in to get a haircut. But there is indeed more to this story that I expanded on.
I had fun drawing this sequence with no dialogue.
Again, tried to add some puns in shop titles like "Starboks Coffee" (logo not designed by me). I also tried to make a pun on a Japanese rental/book/video game store called "Tsutaya" and tried turning it into the name "TsutaYANMA", but you can't see it because Ashley is in the way. And probably only people living in Japan would understand the pun anyway. So, oh well. :/

I'm guessing that it's "Scientifically proven" in the same way it's been "Scientifically proven" music makes plants grow faster. There is a correlation, but the exact cause is still up for debate.

Heck yeah!! Ashley is my favorite human character (If that's appropriate to say?) So I'm excited to read a full chapter with him! It's fun that you're fleshing him out more, I find that nuzlockes, and the pokemon games themselves, don't focus on the rival characters as much. That's why I liked the pokemon adventures manga so much probably lol. But yeah, I can't wait to see how Ashley develops more along with his team!

I'm glad that you are excited about it! I have a lot in store for Ashley and his team. We won't see them as often as Team Liberty, but they are an important part of the cast and it would be remiss of me to not tell their story as well.

There's something I really love about the panel with Ashley running his hand through his hair as he looks up in 5th panel, but I can't really decide what? I think it's just how well his feelings are expressed through position alone and without dialogue. In fact, this page works so well without any dialogue at all that I didn't even notice it wasn't there until I read the description! Nice job!

Ashley's expressions certainly speak loudly as we see him considering practicality vs enjoyment for him and his team. Seeing that it wasn't so easy a decision to make really makes what he did all the more heartwarming, especially for him.
