Ashley tries to calm things down.I can finally draw Zeus with some pupils!
I really got carried away with the sound effects on this page. I'm having too much fun with them.

I suppose they could, but the Pokeball would still be under his former trainer's name and no one else would be able to use it and Zeus would be "released" from it anyway, and still not be able to use it.

I just realized but Zeus would look dope with a damaged eye. It looked a little greyed-out in the sixth panel which made me look again.

Ah, I did that to make it look like he was coming out of his rage briefly. His eye isn't damaged. It would look cool, but I think I've given him enough scars. XD

The most interesting thing about this page is the mention that the pokeball is broken is what set him off. I wonder why?

I figure it's because his pokeball is the one holdover that connects Zeus with his former trainer. I'd be upset if a keepsake like that was broken, too.

The way you panel fight scenes is really nice and dynamic !!! all of these angles are super neat and gghh your fight scenes come through really clear and arent confusing in the slighrest!!! im excited to see what happens to the sweet baby squad and this sad, sad zues lol .

Man, this entire page is just paneled really well! I especially love how in the panel Ashley is holding the pokeball, it almost looks like his arm is moving forward and out of the frame, towards Zeus.
I also find it really neat to see an interaction like this out of Will's perspective. I got really used to being able to understand what EVERYONE was saying, and having this be something Ashley was doing really emphasizes how one-sided communication with pokemon and trainers typically is. Its neat.

I'm glad you find it interesting. It certainly has been a challenge for me, because there's a lot of talking among Will and co, since everyone can understand each other. But here I have to communicate things through other methods. Ashley is really the only one talking here, so when the Pokemon "say" something it has to be interpreted through his understanding of their random barks, growls, or noises. The juxtaposition between his and Will's communication with Pokemon wasn't necessarily intended, but it's a cool side-effect to show that difference and how much one can appreciate Will's ability to get everything that is going on with her Pokemon.

Love the facial expressions and the action scenes in this oh shoot! This looks great!

Wow, a lot of was packed into this in the best way. Great actions scenes that showcase their skills ans power as well as showing raw emotions such as anger, despair, and stubbornness. Zeus' suffering is intense, with that Pokeball all that he has left, but he just can't accept that he can't go in because that means he loses the one last connection he has left to his trainer. And he knows this, it's clearly written on his face. But when we lose something dear we try all we can to hold onto that feeling, even when it becomes unhealthy. Zeus is going to need to be able to accept the horrors of what he lost and that he can still have good connections to what he lost without physical goods in order to start healing. It'll be a long, tough road, but if he has good friends to support him, he can start to heal. The scars left will probably stay, but he can get better.
