this is one of the most beautiful portrait-photographs I've ever seen

She's a good friend of mine.....and a brilliant fire performer and martial artist. She's also the main subject in Aftermath [link] Alot came out of that shoot including this piece. Much more from that time once I get around to it.....

breath taking image. the way you captured her--the angle gives her this noblelike quality. she almost seems like she is raising her chin a little with nobility, and i also like the way her hair seems to be blowing around in the air slightly. like a strong wind wooshing around her.

Kevin this portraite is exceptional. I love the detail. nothing smeared or left out. The way you have captured her here says to me that she is a proud woman offering no appologies for whatever slight imperfections she might have.That's what come accross to me. And that's it's strenght. She is certainley beautiful in a very noncommercial way(best way ..I hate what marketing techniques do to women{and men too}my opinion.) this is what a true portrait should be. no airbrush no manips. How does one improve on her? she IS art and you've captured her beautifully. well done!
