Stretching my brains as a break from doing work-ish artstuff.I dunno. His name's Ghoar. And he has trouble with empathy.

Awesome. I don't know about the empathy part, though. I'm probably crazy, but to me, his eyes give off the feel of "I know your pain, let me help you get rid of it."

I absolutely adore the very crocodilian-esque scutes on the cheeks and corner of the mouth/rictus. Also, the brushes you use just make your images sing with interesting marks!! Badass job, Kez. : D Wish I could come to something similar in my own work!

Hehe they are only hard round brushes, used with varying sizes and applications (like dots or streaks etc) You're getting closer and closer! With everything you submit I see new and awesome things that you've gained!

That would be both extremely encouraging, as I have no clue what sort of alternative brush makes those sorts of marks, and extremely discouraging, as it would suggest that it would take hours and hours to get that sort of texture by hard round brush alone. XD!! *laughs!* Gotta love speculation!

well.. he definitely uses just this brush, but you can change parameters on the round brush to give him a different character so..

That just goes to show how ingenuity and skill can overwrite even some of the most complex and overblown brushes out there. Beautiful work.

I really like the use of the mammalian dentition of the bottom jaw. Though it doesn't quite fit with the upper jaw.
