Background: Lansa Shanzoll was always a shy and timid young Andorian, never seeking promotion, and never seeking to be noticed either - out of fear of making others jealous of talents. Needless to say, she was quite modest. Just her luck, then, that she'd end up being the Yeoman of an entire Starfleet vessel, assisting even the captain himself! All becaise of her experience in Ops. Before long, she was very much noticed indeed, and that all but certainly made her very uncomfortable indeed. She's also a bit socially awkward, when it comes to making friends. Additionally, she has a condition in which she often has a straight up panic attack whenever she's nervous. You can always tell, because her twin antennas are always twitching uncontrollably during that time. Best way she can counter this is with meditation, mostly while off duty. Otherwise, she'd end up being deemed unfit for service. Which is a problem, because deep down, Shanzoll genuinely cares about her service and her dedication to Starfleet. It doesn't help much, though, being unintentionally stranded in another galaxy altogether. If she wants to survive, she'll have to toughen herself up, or panic herself to death...

This here is the eighth character I've come up with for my my own possible Star Trek "project". And this time, it's a Yeoman for the U.S.S. Avionics, and and a cute Andorian female at that, whom I've called Lansa Shanzoll.

This random idea came to me, while learning a bit more about the Andromeda Galaxy. A bit similar to Star Trek: Voyager, except the Andromeda Galaxy is FAR more distant than the Milky Way's Delta Quadrant, and this is set in a time long before that, with a less futuristic and slightly less powerful ship from the 23rd Century. Hopefully no-one will think of this a rip-off. I've done my best to make this as different as best I can, with some differences from Voyager. I doubt I'll carry on with this, though. It's just a simple little idea I had. An experiment, if you will. Anyway, basically here's my main Starship for "Star Trek: Andromeda" - NOT to be confused with the "Andromeda" TV Series, or "Mass Effect: Andromeda" (I promise you, I wasn't thinking of those at the time).
