Slightly revised vest design.Canvas and cotton with brass buttons.

This is a semi custom piece which means you get to pic fabric and we'll fit it to your measurements.
There will be a bit of lead time on this garment. Probably 4 to 8 weeks depending on interest.

Thinking of making something similar but without the collar for a costume I'm doing.
I would do it with the collar, but I have no idea how that all folds and stuff and I'm new to sewing

Yes and nope... I think that Each year we are going to put out a pattern of ours for people to use for free we are trying to get the steeplejacks pattern out next then it might be the Pinkerton but it takes a while to get each pattern ready for the internet. So I hope you can wait just a little while for us to put each pattern together.

I am soo appreciative of how versatile of a wear it is! I also like the fact I could fudge that and use it for renaissance fencing doublet if it was puncture-resistant material ^.^ Good work!!

I have personally used this for SCA fencing. with the collar up it wears very comfortably with a gorget.

Nice. I love that look myself, but I'm guessing that wouldn't work on a ladies build with out some tweaking.

Actually it shouldn't require too much modification to get a good fit. With it's princes line seams (always strikes me as funny to use that term when talking about mens garments..) it fairly straight forward to add bust ease into the pattern.
