Sunset at Great Staple Tor on Dartmoor.Dartmoor is a National Park in the south west of England in the county of Devon. It has many of these natural rocky outcrops formed from granite over thousands of year. They are beautiful and mystical and, at times, magical.
Entered into the competition Slowly Comes The Night at CONTEST!! Slowly Comes The Night CLOSES SUNDAY!
This year's contest theme is "SLOWLY COMES THE NIGHT". A great theme that is open to personal interpretation.Watch this space for prizes!
Before you submit your entry, please read over the few rules to make sure you are not disqualified.
Only members of the group may participate.
You may enter a maximum of two entries to the contest folder found HERE Your entries must be theme relevant. They need to speak "Slowly Comes The Night". All mediums are allowed. If you enter a photomanipulation, all stock must be credited properly or your entry will be rejected. The deadline is Sunday 20th September 2015 at 10pm GMT. The contest folder will be closed at that time and no more entries accepted. You can enter a piece that has already been submitted to the group. I

I love how this picture has different layers. First there is this omnipresent green of all shades cut here and there with those stones of the colour of steel. Then there is a thin line of horizon below this hill, which reminds me a little bit of a sea, the blue so fresh. And then there's the sky, shadows and different shades of grey torn apart by the light. Perfect.
