Description 7 1/2 " x 9 1/2 inches
Watercolor on cold-pressed Arches paper

For reasons unknown to me, I always want to paint things that are "green" -- even though this is the one color I really have difficulty seeing (I have red-green colorblindness) so hopefully this piece looks better now that I've adjusted the hue somewhat with Photoshop.

This is absolutely beautiful. I'm rather jealous, actually. I usually produce layer after layer of watercolour in my works, and yet a piece like this reminds me of how the medium ought to be used -- with minimal coats that produce a wash of cogency and brilliance! I wish I could 're-learn' how to do this.

What a wonderful contrast in the textures, and the color is so harmonious, I feel that it's glowing. You did very well for having problems seeing the colors! I love how the blurry background gives such a great sense of depth! I'm faving this too... Wonderful!
