For Havillands Stables Havillands Meredith and Gareth Evans (Riding very patriotically for Wales!)
Day three's afternoon, The Gaelic Derby.
Blimey! Watch out! It's that Evans bloke and his mad horse. These two just go for it usually. Meredith, being a cob, is only small but he is a real powerhouse and loves to jump anything and everything in his path. He is particularly fond of water jumps since he likes a good wallow (rather like a hippo!) Gareth is yelling copious encouragement in Welsh (best un-translated, I'll leave it to your imagination as to what sort of expletives are also included in the torrent of language)
Gareth would actually have liked to go in for the three day event and he is slightly jealous of John who has the larger horse, but he is determined to make the most of the Gaelic Derby and support his friends no matter what.
Jenny has been at work with her lipstick again, just in case there is any kind of accident(which is actually quite likely knowing those two maniacs) you can't miss what Gareth's blood type is!
Bunny is tucking into a very civilised afternoon tea since it is past four o'clock. That's a cucumber sandwich he has there.
