Some thoughts and such regarding The Sun and Moon Show, the Roxanne Wolf and Gregory Show, and the Glamrock Freddy and Circus Baby Show. But mostly pertaining to Sun and Moon. And Eclipse.

Okay, I started watching the Sun and Moon show in December, meaning i was 9 months behind on lore and one thing i keep hearing about is this whole arc where Eclipse took a maternity chip that was apparently a part of Sun, tampered with it and then forced it into Roxanne, which made her cling to any guy who gave her attention and made her want to rush to marry and have kids.

As Freddy explained it, and i dont even know how he knew any of this--there was plans for a third personality in Sun and Moon, and the maternity chip was for the third personality but then they decided Sun was sufficient enough for the job, so that third one never happened and Sun stayed with this "maternity chip" that Eclipse manage to steal.

I just had no idea what Eclipse's motive was. Then i saw this old episode from the Glamrock Freddy and Circus Baby show--pictured above. At this point, Freddy was going to marry Roxanne just to make sure she was okay and make sure no one was going take advantage of her, but Circus Baby pulled the chip out (during the wedding), which had a high chance of killing her. She didnt die, but she became the shattered version of herself and became very egotistical, very angry, very self centered, and very aggressive.

Freddy tires to take her to therapy and then explains that Eclipse did all this because Sun had a crush on Roxanne. I still didnt understand the motive. At this point Eclipse was still in Sun's body and stealing control whenever he liked. So Circus Baby worked on some tech that affects the chip and, not knowing that Eclipse was still part of Sun, asked Sun to help crash the wedding, with Sun asking if he could have the blueprints of that tech, hoping that it would help him out, seeing as the maternity chip was actually a part of him. Circus Baby believes him and agrees to this, so now Eclipse has that technology. But i dont think that was the motive because how would he have known Circus Baby had that kind of skill?

I think maybe Eclipse just wanted to cause more turmoil in Sun's life because that would make it easier to keep taking control. And guilt does terrible things to a person, and Sun would definitely feel guilty for this incident, even more so when and if Roxanne, in her angry shattered state, starts blaming him for all this which i can definitely see happen. I know Roxanne did go on a date with Sun, but i havent seen that episode yet, and that was way before the maternity chip incident. But i do know at the start of all these channels and the stories of these characters, Roxanne was a terrible person who begins to change for the better, so i dont know how well she treated Sun this early on.

But in this episode, Roxanne said shes joining forces with Eclipse because he promised to fix her body, she doesnt blame Eclipse at all, and said he even spared her and that she "understands" why he did it, not because of her but because of Sun; she said that she was interested in Sun--okay, the first i heard of that--but that Sun wasnt in the right mental state for a relationship--Gee, with an evil alternate personality trying to take over, I wonder why--so Eclipse actually did her favor by doing all this, or so thats how she was treating it in that moment. But at some point Roxanne does become her normal self again and im sure she'll be ready to blame more than one person by the time her mind is normal again. But seeing how she was angry and resentful as Shattered Roxanne, she probably started laying out blame before then. For all i know, her plan was to turn on Eclipse after getting what she wanted from him for starting all this mess in the first place.

I mean some of the follow up story episodes have a story that she got even with Circus Baby for her transforming into Shattered Roxanne, but getting Gregory possessed by Shadow Freddy. So Shadow Freddy, disguised as Gregory, convinces Circus Baby to let him give her upgrades which turns her into Scrap Baby on purpose and this is after Shattered Roxanne said Circus Baby freed her, and she was grateful for that and claimed not to be mad at CB. But, really, she is mad, does blame everyone, so i cant see her not blaming Sun and Eclipse for a large part of this. I wonder if she even confronted Sun over this in her Shattered state. I'll have to look up more Roxanne and Gregory episodes to find out. And keep in mind, she loves Gregory, she takes care of him, she functions as a parent for him, but in her Shattered state, she only cares about herself, so she definitely wouldnt have cared about Sun's feelings if she didnt even care about Gregory's safety. Granted she wasnt really herself when she was Shattered or under the control of the Maternity chip.

I do feel bad about misjudging Glamerock Freddy, i knew he had always had a crush on Roxanne and i really thought he was just taking advantage of the situation because yeah, Roxanne was pushing and pushing to get married right away but its not like he couldnt find ways to sabotage things and keep delaying it until Circus Baby finished up that tech. and i do get why he didnt want to just yank the chip out--there was a high chance doing that was gonna end Roxanne. Freddy really is the sweetest, honest character out of all of them. See, until this therapy episode, it didnt occur to me that some random guy could have gotten Roxanne to marry her. So i was wrong, he filled in that spot, not because he was taken advantage and just fooling himself that he wasnt, he really was trying to keep her close to keep her safe and away from someone who would take advantage. He would never force something like this, but Roxanne was so dead set on getting married as soon as possible, so he either agreed to it or let her go off and find who knows what kind of guy to go marry her. I had doubted him because of this crush he had for her. And she really didnt like Freddy, so her wanting to marry him all of a sudden and him being too willing to agree, made me think something else. Im sorry Freddy. I thought you were being weak and giving in to your own wishes, when really you werent.

So i did watch the wedding episodes but not the episodes before that, where Eclipse actually messed with Roxanne--its hard to co-ordinate because these episodes arent happening just on the Sun and Moon show, they are also happening on the Glamrock and Circus Baby show and the Roxanne Wolf and Gregory Show. So to get the whole story Id have to bounce back and fourth between the channels and each channel has over 100 vids.

I gotta hand it to Eclipse, thats a pretty terrible way to hurt someone, by attacking those they could potentially love and destroying any chance there they could have by creating hate there instead. Poor Sun. I can only imagine the guilt, stress, and anxiety that came crashing down on him when he realized Eclipse had messed with Roxanne like that because of him and the end result was her coming shattered. Eclipse really is a special kind of evil.

But now I want to know where this maternity chip came from.
