Any progress on this? I thought these had been published long ago, but they don't appear to be on DriveThruRPG. Folks were asking about Paper Minis/Flat Figures during the Savage Rifts kickstarter comments.

There was a minor redo on this set, and tri-fold flats were added; These and the Adventurers have been finished, I'm working on Psychics now. My intention is to have all of the base classes from the RIFTS Ultimate Edition represented in mini-form in the stores by the end of June.

I got my copy of RIFTS in 1990 three days after it came out. In the second set of color pages there's an image of a pair of SAMAS in flight; while slightly darker, they are still decidedly on the same color pallet as the image I linked above, and that was the very first color image of Coalition Equipment.
So I never thought different, as it was defined in the first book. Also, a portion of that image on their Facebook page appeared in full color ads in the back of comics around the same time.

I had always described the color to my players as the armor/gear being black with a blue sheen to it. Β Maybe that's because I feel it makes the CS seem more evil to me...

There are later iterations that fit that description, the cover of the RIFTS Novels for example; the problem is they're generally portrayed in the dark, which requires a shift in color pallet to represent, but shows such detail that people sometimes don't recognize that it's in the dark.

The ELUA for the models I use does not include 3D printing; that's quite a bit more expensive.
