This is good. This is really good. This is so good that I can't really express how good it is. This is extraordinary. This is more than I could imagine from a photo. I came over it when I wanted to show my mother two of your photos as my favorites. And then I saw this and I instantly said "This is good", but of course, in my language.

This is amazing. I can believe it is a great experience to see this. I've been searching for them a few days now but only found the skins or the newborns, not both... I keep searching!
Excellent work!

This isnt birth, its molting (insect's skin doesnt grow, so they have to ditch it for new skin while they grow)... but nice photo

I guess so... But it doesnt change the fact that people are now dumber because of his biological mishap.

But this is an art site...not a biology site. Besides, I think it's pretty obvious that it's molting. It's very clear that it is not an egg hatching, not to mention that there is likey a language issue here- I don't think he speaks perfect english. The description may have been his best attempt at explaining the piece.

you should reconsider your comment, as to not confuse everyone on the biological origin of this photo...

Wow, it's really great that you had the timing to capture that! Not only that, but the opportunity was well taken; I find it hard to imagine a better angle than the one you took.

This is a great capture as everyone else has said. Although, when I was looking at the thumbnail of it I thought it was a photomanip of a dragon coming out of the dragonfly shell. So, I just might need to get glasses...but either way an awesome piece of work

Incubus - New Skin
At first I see an open wound,
infected and disastrous.
It breathes chaotic catastrophe,
it cries to be renewed.
(Please Renew Me!)
Its tears are the color of anger,
they dry to form a scab.
To the touch, its stiff and resilient,
underneath, the new skin breathes...
As outwardly cliche as it may seem,
yes, something under the surface says,
"C'est la vie."
It is a circle, there is a plan...
dead skin will atrophy itself to start again.
Look closely at the open wound...
see past what covers the surface
Underneath chaotic catastrophe,
creation takes stage...
Its all been saved...
with exception for the right parts.
When will we be new skin?

Wow! Right place in the right time! You got to be really lucky to be there at the exact moment, plus you gotta be very talented to capture it in such a clear and sharp way. I can imagine you holding the breath before the shot, trying not to shake despite the excitement of such an impressive moment.
Congratz!!
