The dog looks "Danish" to me rather than Hyena-ish, looking at the pack I assumed "young great Dane training to be pack animal" (large ears vs. head size) which since I have friends with Danes that do the packing when they go hiking makes sense. Oh crud he may end up in one of my short stories... I'll make sure to get back to you, if he pops in on me, for your permission.
- The Merc (a large feirce looking fellow) is down on his hands and knees trying to talk the half grown pup from under the wagon, so he can go join the fight, swearing and coaxing while the poor thing whimpers from fright of the Cannon fire in the distance.....

Love the dog. I suppose if the dog was large enough you use it as a pack animal...maybe carry small children or prisoners... ^^

That's an awesome drawing.... The hyena look kinda completes the weaponry thing, so all in all, good shit.

Amazing that you did this in an hour. He looks a bit sad the poor fella. He's probably wondering who dumped all the junk on his back.
Great painting and you've managed to pack so much detail into it, quite astounding. I am having difficulty deciding what the globe is. It looks metallic but I have no idea as to what it is.
Good work.

it didnt start looking like a hyena until you mentioned it in which case i now have a strange urge to make rather savvy puns in reference tot eh lion king lol
youve got really good grip on proportions, something I plain lack
i liked your attentive care on the finer more subtle details that truly characterize your peice
I think youve managed to incorporate the backpack very smoothely onto the body of the dog, a lack of mechanism and sense ofa ttachment I find is almost blasphemous

*laughs* I'm so terrible. When I first saw this I thought that he had a rocket strapped to him >.< (don't ask where my mind is) Anyway, now that I've taken a closer look I love the little details of the netting holding all that on, and I really like his forward leg.
