Tutorials only help so far. Good for learning the basics. After that its more about finding a method/style that works for you and lots and lots of side-by-side studies.

They're surprisingly easy to make. lots of hard edges and subtle color values
I also like using someΒ chromatic aberration for depth / distances.

He had me give an opinion on this many times to make sure the rocks were 'rocky' enough, and the tokos 'toko-y' too lol
