For the current Project: Rooftop contest - to come up with a new Batman costume for Dick Grayson to wear if he's to take over for Bruce.I just tried to evolve his Nightwing outfit, turning his chest emblem into something a bit more "bat-ty" and connecting it to his cape. The cowl's got a bit of his mask in there as well.
I also figured he wouldn't want a "king-sized" cape like Bruce (probably nothing bigger than his old Robin one), so his cape is fairly small. But it can expand and contract if he needs to glide or loom menacingly over someone.
Not surprisingly, since I'm a fan of vigilantes in cowls who hit people with sticks, I whipped this up pretty quickly.

I like it, clean and simple. The smaller cape would allow Dick the freedom to continue using his gymnastic stylings.
