Round 3:
*DING DING*
Ryoko's belly had taken a thorough beating in the previous round, her opponent was a lot stronger than she'd given her credit for, allowing herself to get cocky and pay for it later. Now that the playing field was level again, it was anyone's game, one that she'd end up losing if the wasn't careful.
One thing was for certain, she didn't want people to see her get smacked around the ring for another round before losing the match, she had to start focusing.
As the fighters began circling eachother again, Ryoko decided that going on the offensive again wouldn't be a good idea until she'd gotten a good feeling of her opponent's defensive capabilities. For now, she'd play to her primary strength, which was her speed.

Crimson started off the round by throwing a powerful right-cross to Ryoko's head. Seeing the punch coming, she ducked to the side and narrowly avoided it, feeling the rushing air as Crimson's fist whizzed pasted her head at speed. As Crimson pulled back her fist, she tried again with her left, only for Ryoko to duck out of the way again and back up, putting space between them.
Crimson gritted her teeth frustratedly came after her, determined to gain a foothold by getting the upper hand in the match.
As the series of jabs and hooks, she did her best to defend against them, managing to block and avoid the majority sent her way.
She slowly began realising something; Crimson would leave herself often for a brief moment after every punch she delivered.

She decided to try using it to her advantage, knowing that a full-on attack wasn't going to end well for her.
She experimented, as Crimson tried throwing another hook to her head, she lashed out with a hard blow to her ribs as she ducked down.
Crimson gasped as Ryoko's fist connected with her side, backing up from her, mainly out of surprise than pain. Ryoko wondered if she could win the match with this tactic so long as she was able to keep it up.
The match wore on with both fighters exchanging blows; Crimson trying to land a blow against her nimble opponent, while Ryoko relied on her speed to avoid them, lashing out when she could. By the end of the match, Ryoko had fared fairly well, while Crimson's ribs had taken a gradual beating, wearing her down.

Round 4:
Both fighters sat in their corners and mulled over their next strategies. Crimson was furious with herself, angry that she'd allow herself to lose the chance to gain a foothold against her opponent. With only one round left, she'd have to go for KO'ing her, but going all-out on her attacks clearly wasn't working, she'd have to find a way to curb her countering ability.
*DING DING*
Both fighters left their corners and met back in the centre of the ring, gloves raised. Crimson shot first, throwing a right hook to Ryoko's head, only for her to duck down, avoiding it.
This time, however, Crimson wasn't going to let her counter, swinging a left cross, slamming her fist against the side of her head.
Ryoko was taken by surprise and staggered back, gasping painfully. Crimson stepped forward as she retreated, slamming her right fist against her cheek, getting Ryoko to back-peddle quickly, raising her gloves defensively.

Ryoko's cheek was stinging following that last blow and she could already feel it bruising. She knew that she was winning on points so far and that if she could survive this round, she'd win the fight. On the other hand, she feared that Crimson could dish out punches she couldn't withstand, and that she was already getting wise to her countering strategy.
She decided to try and avoid her punches and stay on the defensive, so long as she could out-last her, she could win.
Crimson closed the gap between them and given her less room to move around in, backing her into a corner.

She fired a right cross towards her head, Ryoko didn't have enough room to dodge, so raised her guard and protect herself, only for Crimson to feint at the last second and belt her stomach with a devastating left uppercut into her stomach.
She gasped loudly and buckled forwards, her eyes widened as she tried to catch her breath. Crimson threw a right hook to her face, catching her on her cheek and throwing her backwards.
Falling from the momentum of the punch, Ryoko fell back against the side of the ring, grabbing onto the ropes to try and keep herself upright, trying to get her breath back.
With her defence wide open, Crimson threw a left-right hook combo to her head, smacking her back and forth, sending droplets of spittle flying through the air. Ryoko did her best to cover up and hide behind her guard, only for Crimson to start attacking her stomach.

Winded from the blows to her stomach, Ryoko knew that she'd be at risk of losing the match if he went down, she had to lash out and fight back, if just to run down the clock and stop herself from biting the canvas. Gritting her teeth tightly, she forced herself to rise to her full height, letting out a primal roar as she slammed her right fist into Crimson's chin.
She was taken completely off-guard, almost biting down on her tongue as her face was smacked upwards and she staggered back.
Ryoko took the opening while she had it, stepping forwards and firing a straight right to Crimson's face, catching her on the jaw and forcing her to cover up.
Still reeling from the unexpected blow to her chin, Crimson stayed behind her guard and backed up as Ryoko slammed fierce, desperate blows against her guard, backing her up further and further to the other side of the ring, until she was up against the ropes. Before she had the chance to rally, Ryoko reeled back her right fist before slamming her glove into Crimsons soft, exposed belly, making her cough and double over, holding onto the ropes for support
*DING DING*
"Round over! Both fighters to their corners!" The referee ordered, stepping between them and ordering both fighters to opposite sides of the ring.
And the boxers went back to their corners, they both anxiously waited to hear the verdict for the round, which wound be the deciding factor for the match.
Both fighters were summoned back to the centre of the ring to announce the winner, the ref held each of their arms, pausing for a moment before raising Ryoko's up in the air.
End of round 4 - Draw

Ryoko grinned widely, overwhelmed that she'd managed to come out on top after going up against such a tough boxer. Crimson felt disappointed, but would't allow herself to show it, if she hadn't lost her footing in the first round, the fight may have gone differently. Nevertheless, she wasn't going to disrespect Ryoko during her victory, she'd fought well and had earned her right to advance through the tournament.
