very nice shot. feels like a postcard from way back when... and not just because of the sepia effect, although that is an important element in this context. i am not sure what it is ... perhaps it is the angle, which - in showing so many gigantic, sleek, majestic, sky scrapers all at once - may tend to evoke admiration for modernity... sort of reminds me of the all pervasive enthusiasm with progress in the mid-50's (which admittedly i did not experience personally, as i was born only later).
another thing which caught my eye was the cranes in the background. an unmistakable sign that "they" are still at it...

my pleasure! i am no expert, but i enjoy studying other people's work, commenting and conversing, as much as i enjoy photographing. indeed, this kind of activity enhances my enjoyment of photography... and, after all, is this not what dA is all about?
